Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical energy, communications, lighting, and control systems in homes, businesses, and factories. Electricians are tradesmen and tradesmen whose duties include designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical wiring systems. Because these electricians usually work in an industrial environment, they enjoy fixed hours and a safer working environment. During an apprenticeship, trainee electricians must complete 144 hours a year of technical training, familiarizing themselves with construction plans, safety and first aid practices, the requirements of electrical regulations, mathematics, and electrical theory. As a residential electrician, you install and repair security systems, air conditioning, and other household appliances.
